As supply chain restructuring, geopolitical tensions, and decarbonization pressures reshape the industry, TaipeiPLAS 2026 will showcase how Taiwan’s hidden industrial champions are responding to these changes.
The Taipei International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show (TaipeiPLAS), jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), brings together the plastics and rubber industry supply chain from materials and molding machinery to molds and downstream manufacturers.
TaipeiPLAS 2026 will open on September 15 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, bringing together 350 exhibitors across eight exhibition zones. This year’s show will place greater emphasis on sustainability, circular solutions, composite materials, smarter machinery, automotive lightweighting, and medical applications.
For FCS Precision Industry CEO Alan Wang, the exhibition is more than a showcase for machinery. It is also a platform for demonstrating how manufacturing technologies can improve production processes, solve practical manufacturing challenges, and support international market expansion.

Founded in 1974, FCS Precision Industry was the winner of both the Gold Award and the Aesthetics Award at the previous TaipeiPLAS Awards.
Today, high-end multi-color machines account for 60% of FCS’s revenue. The company supplies six of the world’s eight largest automotive lighting manufacturers and recently delivered a customized 2,500-ton large-scale opposed injection molding machine to Koito, the world’s largest automotive lighting manufacturer.

As sustainability becomes increasingly important, Wang noted that the use of recycled materials has become a threshold for entering the U.S. market. FCS’s sandwich injection molding technology allows virgin and recycled materials to be injected in the same machine, using recycled material for the inner layer while maintaining a virgin-material surface.
The company has also introduced MuCell physical foaming technology. Through microcellular foaming, plastic consumption can be reduced by 10–20%, while automotive interior components can be made 10–30% lighter.
Beyond machinery, FCS has also been developing a second growth engine: software services.
Its iMF 4.0 system uses AI models to analyze production data and recommend molding parameters. More than 1,000 machines worldwide are equipped with the system, while its sales model is gradually shifting from one-time purchases toward subscriptions.
The CT-e Series all-electric machines and SA Series large outward-toggle machines to be exhibited at TaipeiPLAS 2026 will both be equipped with iMF 4.0.
Injection molding has long relied heavily on the accumulated experience of skilled technicians. Variations in raw material batches, temperature, and humidity can all affect molding conditions and parameter settings.
iMF 4.0 converts these manufacturing variables into analyzable data, allowing FCS’s Taiwan headquarters to monitor machines operating at plants in the United States, Vietnam, and India in real time. The system also supports remote management and process decision-making, reducing the need to dispatch personnel overseas for on-site support.
