The Taipei International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show (TaipeiPLAS 2026) will take place grandly from September 15 to 19. Echoing the official show theme, "Form to Future," and its three core pillars — Smart Manufacturing, Innovative Materials, and Sustainability Fu Chun Shin (FCS), Taiwan’s leading injection molding machine manufacturer, will comprehensively demonstrate its innovative capabilities in empowering industrial transformation.

  • Precision Alignment with Diverse Markets: Highly versatile applications spanning New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and automotive components, premium sports goods, semiconductors, and ICT, as well as logistics pallets and deep-bucket containers—maximizing production line flexibility in limited factory spaces.

 


🔷 SA-160 AI Smart Molding System|Dual Pioneering Technologies: AI Empowerment and Precision Flow Control

In response to the "Smart Manufacturing" theme, the FCS R&D Center introduces two state-of-the-art breakthroughs. The SA-160 Outward Toggle Injection Molding Machine will perform a fully automated live demo producing stationery trays, showcasing advanced quality assurance and parameter management:

R&D Highlight 1: AI Quality Self-Monitoring Injection Molding Machine

Embedded directly into the machine control box for rapid "Zero-Retrofit Deployment". Utilizing AI virtual metrology, it predicts product weight and dimensional quality in real time before mold opening, completely eliminating testing lags. Simply switching prediction models via software enables flexible adaptation to different products, making it ideal for the "High-Mix, Low-Volume" customization trend.

R&D Highlight 2: Mold Water Flow and Temperature Sensing & Control System

Operating under the principle of "Flow Control Before Temp Control," the built-in regulating valve compensates for factory water pressure fluctuations, maintaining mold temperature precisely within ±2°C. Non-invasive blockage detection provides real-time alerts, while one-key automated purging saves 10–15 minutes of downtime per mold change and prevents mold rusting.

 


🔷 CT-120 All-Electric Low-Carbon Molding System|Industry-Academia Alliance: Delivering Sustainable Low-Carbon Solutions

Faced with stringent regulations such as EU Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Digital Product Passport (DPP), and Euromap 60.1 energy efficiency grading, carbon management is now a business necessity. Partnering with the Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Smart Manufacturing R&D Center, FCS pairs its CT-120 All-Electric Injection Molding Machine with automation peripherals to officially unveil "Real-Time Multi-Stage Energy Consumption Statistical and Monitoring Technology":

  • First-in-Industry Phase-Specific Energy Control: Overcoming the limitations of traditional whole-machine power estimates, this technology breaks down the injection cycle into mold opening/closing, plasticizing, injection, and holding pressure phases for precise, stage-by-stage energy measurement and real-time monitoring.
  • Simultaneous Optimization of Quality and Energy: Incorporating cutting-edge academic algorithms into actual production processes, it optimizes overall energy consumption while ensuring top-tier molding quality and machine stability.
  • Empowering PCR Recycled Material Applications: The system analyzes energy consumption stability in real time, serving as a critical metric for evaluating the processing stability of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials. This helps manufacturers drastically reduce defect rates and achieve true green manufacturing.
