Innovation at the Summit, Leadership in Smart Manufacturing|FCS Wows Vietnam Summit with MuCell Foam Injection Technology

Amid the global wave of digital transformation and low-carbon manufacturing, FCS Group continues to demonstrate its leadership in advancing smart plastic injection molding through technical strength and international dialogue. During the HanoiPlas exhibition from June 5 to 6, 2025, FCS was also invited to attend the Sustainable Manufacturing & Quality Innovation Summit, hosted by WNC in Hanoi, Vietnam. Representing Taiwan's advanced injection molding technologies, Dr. Lin provided in-depth insights into the mechanism and advantages of MuCell foam injection molding. By utilizing physical foaming to create internal microcellular structures, this technology significantly reduces material usage, lightens product weight, and enhances insulation and mechanical strength. It also shortens cycle times, enabling both energy savings and productivity gains.

MuCell technology has been widely adopted in industries such as 3C electronics, automotive, medical, and home appliances, making it ideal for applications requiring structural integrity and lightweight design. During the summit, Dr. Lin also shared real-world cases where FCS integrated MuCell with multi-component molding, long-fiber composites, and its proprietary iMF 4.0 smart manufacturing system to enable machine connectivity, real-time monitoring, and carbon footprint tracking.
