FAKUMA 2026|FCS Secures All-Electric and Two-Component IMM Orders, Strengthens European Automotive Presence
FCS Group joined forces with a German Tier 1 automotive supplier at FAKUMA 2026, showcasing the CT-120e All-Electric Injection Molding Machine with high-precision, energy-efficient, and automated molding technology. FCS successfully sold its exhibition machine and secured an additional order for the FB-750Re Large Electric Two-Component Injection Molding Machine, achieving 390% of its sales target. These results highlight FCS's capabilities in all-electric and multi-component injection molding while strengthening its presence in Europe's automotive components and precision plastics markets.
Held from October 12–16, 2026, at Messe Friedrichshafen, Germany, the 30th FAKUMA attracted 1,547 exhibitors from 39 countries and 36,278 trade visitors, with international visitors accounting for a record 42%. As a key European trade fair for plastics processing, FAKUMA highlights injection molding, automation, precision tooling, and innovative materials, bringing together manufacturers and industry professionals worldwide.
Strengthening European Automotive Partnerships with a German Tier 1 Supplier
Europe's automotive industry demands high precision, process stability, and production efficiency in plastic components. Applications ranging from automotive interior and exterior parts to lighting systems and multi-material components continue to drive demand for precision injection molding and multi-component technologies.
At FAKUMA 2026, FCS exhibited alongside a German Tier 1 automotive supplier, building on their long-standing partnership to showcase precision and energy-efficient molding solutions to European customers.
The partner has already installed multiple FCS machines, with the collaboration extending to a customized LM-1700 Two-Platen Two-Component Injection Molding Machine, featuring a piggyback dual-injection configuration. The machine is scheduled for installation following FAKUMA, opening new opportunities for large automotive plastic component molding.

CT-120e All-Electric IMM: High Precision and Energy Efficiency
The CT-120e All-Electric Injection Molding Machine features an all-electric servo drive system, offering injection speeds up to 300 mm/s, positioning repeatability of ±0.01 mm, and specific energy consumption below 0.37 kWh/kg. These capabilities support precision molding, consistent performance, and energy-efficient production.
At FAKUMA 2026, the CT-120e was paired with robotic automation to produce a 90g stackable storage bin using a single-cavity mold, demonstrating stable molding performance for industrial plastic products.
The CT-e Series also supports applications in precision electronics, medical devices, optics, food containers, and automotive plastic components, meeting European manufacturers' requirements for quality, energy efficiency, and low-carbon production.
Exhibition Machine Sold, Large Two-Component IMM Order Secured
During the five-day exhibition, FCS successfully sold the CT-120e All-Electric IMM on display and secured an order for the FB-750Re Large Electric Two-Component IMM. The two orders reaching 390% of the exhibition sales target and demonstrating demand for both all-electric and large multi-component molding solutions.
FCS has extensive experience in multi-component injection molding, enabling different colors or materials to be integrated within a single molding cycle. This technology serves automotive lighting, interior and exterior components, and multifunctional plastic parts, helping manufacturers reduce secondary assembly processes while improving product integration and production efficiency.
Securing orders across two product lines reflects European customers' interest in precision, energy efficiency, and multi-component molding technology, while demonstrating the breadth of FCS's injection molding solutions.
Expanding in Europe's Automotive and Precision Manufacturing Markets
The results at FAKUMA 2026 demonstrate the market potential of FCS's all-electric and large two-component injection molding technologies. Its long-standing collaboration with a German Tier 1 automotive supplier, including the upcoming installation of a 1,700-ton machine, further strengthens FCS's position within Europe's automotive supply chain.
Looking ahead, FCS will integrate all-electric injection molding, multi-component technologies, and smart manufacturing solutions to provide efficient, reliable, and energy-saving molding solutions for European manufacturers of automotive components, precision electronics, and industrial plastic products, creating new opportunities in advanced manufacturing.
