n. generation 10th President Handover Ceremony

The n. generation 10th President Handover Ceremony was held at The Lin Hotel Taichung on February 17. Weite Chen, the outgoing 9th President of SDI Corporation (2351), formally passed the leadership baton to Alan Wang, the CEO of FCS Group (6603). Shiow-yen Lu, the Mayor of Taichung, personally attended to congratulate and express gratitude to Alan Wang for taking on the significant role as the new n. generation President. Mayor Lu hopes for continued collaboration and platform-building for Taiwanese businesses to promote industrial development.

Founded in 2014 by Mr. Ching-Chuan Chang, n. generation was initiated to address the trend of generational succession among operators of listed companies. Recognizing the need for experience exchange and network expansion among the new generation of managers, Mr. Chang invited 20 outstanding members to establish "n. generation" after six months of preparation. All members elected Mr. Ching-Chuan Chang as the founder, and Young Liu, the CEO of Giant Manufacturing, served as the first President. After a decade of development, it has grown into a community organization with 55 members, including Alan Wang.

Comprising second-generation operators of Taiwanese listed companies from various fields such as bicycles, optoelectronics, food packaging, metal processing, precision machinery, automotive components, and tourism, n. generation embodies the dynamic innovation and pragmatic leadership spirit of second-generation Taiwanese entrepreneurs. Past Presidents, including Ying-Chin Wu (Chairman of KMC International), Hong-Chuan Dai (Chairman of Taiwan Hon Chuan), Jui-Chun Lee (Chairman of Kung Long Batteries Industrial), Scott Yang (Chairman of Sunspring Metal), Wei-Ya Kao (Chairman of Ability Opto-Electronics Technology), Lien-Kai Hsu (Chairman of Lu Hai Holding), and Wen-Goang Yang (Vice President of Chaoyang University of Technology), have actively facilitated communication and created numerous business opportunities among member enterprises.

Founder Mr. Ching-Chuan Chang stated that n. generation members are dedicated to industry observation, exchange, socialization, and promoting the well-being of member companies, individuals, and families. The core concept of "Passing on the Torch" is practiced to achieve the goals of learning, growth, and sustainable business operations.

The newly appointed President, Alan Wang, expressed that he and his team have planned a year-long agenda, including thematic lectures and corporate visits. Through various cross-industry exchange activities, he looks forward to sharing operational experiences with outstanding entrepreneurs. Every n. generation member will contribute to the vibrant community, promoting the development of Taiwanese enterprises and creating more success stories.

The hosting of the n. generation President Handover Ceremony is not only a moment to witness the passing on of the torch but also a symbol of organizational cohesion and future development potential. Mayor Shiow-yen Lu's presence underscores the local significance of n. generation.
