Fu-Chiang Group (FCS) , internationally renowned for its multi-component molding technology, is a leader in the development of multi-component injection molding machines. With the global Industry 4.0 wave, the group has integrated 47 years of manufacturing experience and high-end software applications to launch the iMF4.0 smart manufacturing factory system , specifically designed for the global plastics and rubber industry. This system utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud data transmission, and visualizes workpiece information through real-time monitoring technology, achieving a stable and predictable production mode. It is expected to significantly improve production line yield and output speed, effectively expanding the industry's competitiveness.

Wang Chun-hsien, CEO of Fu-Chung Hsin Group, said that although the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the world, Fu-Chung Hsin's momentum for progress remains unaffected. Recently, the company has started construction on a new plant in Ningbo, China, and participated in drafting the standard for "multi-component plastic injection molding machines," all of which demonstrate the urgent need for plastic and rubber equipment.

In Taiwan, the focus is on strengthening smart manufacturing and implementing smart factories in practice. In fact, in terms of smart manufacturing on the production side, Fu-Chiang Hsin is currently carrying out an industrial upgrading and innovation platform guidance project approved by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, called the "iSCM-Fu-Chiang Hsin AI Innovation Application Project" . The project focuses on Fu-Chiang Hsin's layout and preparation in smart and lean production, that is, to move from traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing, and to apply real-time monitoring technology to make workpiece information digitally visualized. In general, it is to create a new type of smart factory through smart management.

Wang Junxian pointed out that smart factories may seem simple, but they are not. They require smart machinery, which are then combined with smart peripherals and smart management to complete smart manufacturing. Each stage must be completed and feedback must be provided to gradually transform the process from complicated to convenient. This is a challenge to manufacturing standards, and Fuqiangxin Group is undertaking this great challenge.

Furthermore, the economic and trade constraints imposed by this wave of the pandemic have hampered and clouded international economic activity. While exports to various countries are restricted, local economies remain viable. Therefore, localized and timely services are particularly important. For example, Fu-Chiang Hsin Group's Indian plant can provide local support for installation and service in Africa and Bangladesh. To address cross-border service and marketing, Fu-Chiang Hsin Group has proactively implemented digital marketing strategies. This includes statistical analysis of click behavior on its official website, Facebook, YouTube, and newsletters. The statistical data is used to analyze customer preferences and trends, and then local sales or agents are used to strengthen marketing in key regions.

Wang Junxian concluded by emphasizing that due to the impact of the pandemic, the Taiwan market is particularly important this year. Fuqiangxin is actively assisting existing clients in adopting smart manufacturing, and most new clients are also choosing smart manufacturing models to cope with future business expansion. Therefore, the company's overall pace remains busy.
