FCS Perfectly Attends the Inaugural TAINANPLAS 2024
With the global rise in environmental awareness, the green rubber and plastic industry have emerged as crucial trends in the market. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, FCS Group, dedicated to seeking and providing net-zero carbon emission molding solutions, brings its latest and hottest offerings: the "Energy Saving Injection Molding Machine" SA series, and the "All-Electric Injection Molding Machine" CT-e series, to participate in the 1st Tainan Rubber and Plastic Industry Exhibition (TAINANPLAS).
FCS showcase intelligent and energy-efficient applications with precision optical molding as the theme. Apart from saving 55% more energy compared to traditional injection molding machines, the exhibited equipment, equipped with the iMF 4.0 itelligent ManuFactory System, utilizes intelligent sensing modules to enhance product yield and reduce production waste, presenting a spectacular technological demonstration.
Tainan is not only an industrial hub in Southern Taiwan but also a cluster of supply chains for numerous rubber and plastic-related industries such as electronic components, metal and chemical material products, plastic and rubber machinery, automotive components, and more. Therefore, the inaugural TAINANPLAS held in Tainan from March 21st to 24th, 2024, holds significant significance for the development and connection of the industrial chain in the central and southern regions of Taiwan.
At the exhibition, FCS automated the demonstration of the molding process for PC safety goggles lenses and temples, allowing visitors to take away assembled finished products on the spot. These two series represent FCS's latest achievements in the field of injection molding, infused with more efficient and energy-saving technological prowess, providing customers with superior solutions.
Outward Toggle Injection Molding Machine(SA Series)
The SA series is a newly introduced hydraulic servo energy-saving model by FCS, covering clamping forces ranging from 100 to 3,200 tons, with injection time stability exceeding 99.9%. It is suitable for household appliances, stationery, automotive, 3C, and home appliance industries. Due to its structural characteristics, it can shorten the clamping unit length by approximately 23% and increase the opening stroke by about 16%, allowing SA to provide relatively larger opening stroke with smaller specifications and space, thus also favored by customers producing deep bucket-shaped products.
In this exhibition, the SA-160 with a clamping force of 160 tons, equipped with the clamping force monitoring system and product weight stability monitoring system, produces 4-cavity PC goggle temples at a cycle time of 35 seconds. Automated retrieval and gate cutting are performed by a robotic arm, and the weight of each mold product is measured. The data is automatically fed back to the control system, demonstrating the performance of FCS standard hydraulic machines in high-end precision industries.
All-Electric Injection Molding Machine (CT-e Series)
FCS's CT-e all-electric injection molding machine boasts high efficiency, stability, and energy-saving advantages, garnering more attention in the new energy vehicle market boom and under the global ESG agenda. In 2023, CT-e saw a year-on-year sales growth of over 160%, with a cumulative sales of 250 units. This series adopts high-performance servo systems, controllers, and Ethernet buses, achieving injection control accuracy of 0.01mm and superior pressure closed-loop operation control, enabling faster and more precise mold adjustments.
At this exhibition, the CT-180e, an all-electric machine with a clamping force of 180 tons, demonstrates automated production of PC material goggles lenses with 2 cavities at a cycle time of 40 seconds, showcasing applications for precision and clean mass production in optics, medical, and even electronics and food packaging industries. Visitors can also witness the assembly of exquisite goggles on-site with the lenses produced by the CT-180e, becoming the focal point of the exhibition.
iMF 4.0 intelligent ManuFactory System
All machines showcased at this exhibition is equipped with FCS's independently developed iMF 4.0 Intelligent ManuFactory System, which can be installed on various brands of injection molding machines. It can autonomously adapt and control quality parameters through interconnected information with peripherals, utilizing intelligent sensing modules to improve product yield and reduce production waste. Through engineering supervision and feedback recommendations, it achieves proactive alerts and avoids unexpected downtime losses, assisting customers in seizing the opportunity of "smart" manufacturing.
At the inaugural TAINANPLAS exhibition, FCS wholeheartedly showcased themes tailored to precision, cleanliness, and cost reduction, while assisting customers in finding optimized solutions towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions in their processes. The molded goggles displayed at the booth not only attracted bustling crowds but also captured the attention of experts. Within the 4-day exhibition, FCS successfully secured an order for a set of HT-300. In total, they engaged with 175 prospective clients face-to-face, with an impressive 26 intending to make deals, totaling nearly NTD 65 million. This remarkable performance fills FCS with confidence and pride.
