Talents and teams are significant to the enterprise development

“Team plays the most important role in the success of an enterprise,” said Jerry. The reason why FCS managed to secure a place in the industry of injection molding machine over 40 years ago and achieve continuous development is that its founder was a technician who took pleasure in developing technologies and had high requirements on product quality.

Thanks to his endeavor, FCS quickly took a firm stand in the Taiwanese market. The continual growth of its business has laid a foundation for the establishment of the factories in Dongguan and Ningbo in 1994 and 2001 respectively.

At present, the sales turnover of the two factories in Mainland China has accounted for over 60% of the group, which can be attributed to the operation strategy. According to the strategy, a core team has settled in the factories since their establishment, and the major team members take charge of their operation to ensure the implementation and development of the group’s policies and the operational philosophy of the manager.

Jerry Wang admitted that the company developed slowly in its early days. Back then, emphasis was placed on the quality of products, but the team distribution was not effective. Besides, the fierce competitions in the market imposed increasingly high requirements on the balance between products and the market.

It was not until he entered the Ningbo factory in 2003 that the company began to make a plan on teams. In the plan, efforts were made to promote the communication between the teams of marketing and technology, products were improved and technologies were developed according to customer and market demands, and the teams responsible for management, technological development and market service, which consisted of local talents, were established and trained. Besides, all the indexes were quantified for horizontal and vertical comparison among the departments to build a well-structured team. All these measures have made our work more efficient and contributed to the development of FCS in recent years.

 

The strategy of differentiated products has led to more profits

In the field of injection molding machine, the thriving enterprises have come up with their distinctive features. For years, FCS has always aimed its products at middle- and high-end markets. Proceeding from the combination of market needs and technological development, it focuses on the “application to multi-component injection molding” and has made truly remarkable achievements in the sphere.

It has produced two-component injection molding machines for 37 years since 1984 and has accumulated rich experience. In particular, it has collected abundant data resources in the field of large two-component injection molding machines. From headlight to houseware goods and to leak proof products, FCS can offer suggestions on mold design and hot runner configuration as well as complete solutions according to consumer demands within a short time.

Therefore, over 85% of its top 50 clients have become regular ones within two years, and it has seen a steady growth in its performance and opened a development path of its own.

When it comes to the milestone in the course of the development of FCS multi-component injection molding machine, the company began to launch the product with great vigor since 2013. Aside from optimizing the size, rotary table and mold loading capacity of the machine and offering injection options, it raised the weight of the machine to 1,900 tons.

The horizontal rotation technology is a great contributor. Currently, it provides a series of multi-component and single-component machines from clamping force 60 to 4,000 tons, which are widely applied to such industries as automobile fittings, domestic appliance, 3C electronics, medicine and houseware goods.

 

In addition, FCS is positively developing the all-electric injection molding machine and its application. In recent years, FCS’ hydraulic two-component injection molding machine is outstanding in the industry, and keep thinking the application and the position of the All-electric market.

 

Relative to hydraulic machine, all-electric series is more expensive, but it is more precise, stable and high efficiency. It means the market segmentation is required to do the suitable division, such as the field of medical appliance and optical element.

CT-R series is newly launched in 2020, suitable for multi-color products of "high precision and low pollution". Adopting multiple independent barrels for injection, greatly shortens the cycle time.

The rate of servo rotary table improved by 30%-50%, and the positioning precision up to 0.005°. Linear guide at injection unit makes back pressure approach 0 when charging, reduces the melt overflow. European servo driver and controller system make injection accuracy up to 0.01mm. Equipped 21.5" touch screen with smart control interface.

 

At present, FCS has launched all-electric injection molding machine (CT-R series) with a clamping force of 180, 230 and 280 tons, including more than 10 models (contains high injection speed). The largest single injection has reached the scale of 900 tons. In 2020, the sales performance of all electric series has accounted for 5% of the total performance.

In the end of 2020, CT-R series first launched in DMP show in China, with the clamping force of 280 tons. After that, FCS shows CT-280R with clamping force of 280 tons in Chinaplas 2021, and attracted attention from crowds of people.

The Servo Injection Molding Machine also takes a big stride forward with electric driven, FCS upgrades the models with electric-driven unit of the following models, two-component injection molding machines (FB-Re,HB-Re)、high-speed injection molding machines(AN-e)、advanced servo hydraulic injection molding machines (FA-e). Among them, FB-1600Re (Rotary Table Two-Component IMM with electric-driven unit) and HB-1900Re (Large Horizontal Rotary Table 2K IMM with electric-driven injection unit) are applied on auto parts. AN-500e applied on packaging. In Chinaplas 2021, the 24 cavities mold of medical syringe was produced by FA-e, and the cycle time is 9 seconds. Electric-driven machines provide customers with a more cost-effective choice, and we believe that there will be more market opportunities in the future.
