FCS Marched To "Taiwan-Thailand Industrial Collaboration Summit" To Create Taiwan-Thailand Smart Machinery Business Opportunities.
To promote the development of the New Southbound Policy, Hsu Sheng-hsiung, Chairman of the Chinese National Federation of Industries, led a delegation of 100 people to Thailand to attend the "Taiwan-Thailand Supply Chain Integration Summit Forum" held on July 27. During the forum, 14 letters of intent for cooperation were signed between Taiwan and Thailand. More than 300 key Taiwanese and Thai companies participated, covering five major sectors: food biotechnology, textiles, cultural and creative design, smart machinery, and information services. This platform aimed to promote industrial cooperation and create more opportunities for collaboration. Vice Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua, Minister of Economic Affairs Lee Shih-kuang, and Director-General of the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs Lu Cheng-hua were also invited to attend the forum to jointly encourage and express their expectations for industrial cooperation between Taiwan and Thailand.
Among them, Wang Junxian, Deputy CEO of Fuqiangxin, led a group of 100 Taiwanese smart machinery manufacturers to the meeting on behalf of the Taiwan Machinery Industry Association (TAMI). They also signed an MOU with the Thai Industrial Institute (FTI) to jointly promote the development of Taiwan-Thailand 4.0 production system related technologies (such as automotive and motorcycle components). They also introduced Taiwanese smart system solution teams, including smart mold design and engineering analysis, smart production line equipment electromechanical system integration planning and design, and lean production line management. They also agreed to establish a platform for application technology exchange and business cooperation matchmaking, inviting Taiwanese smart system solution providers and Thai companies with application needs to discuss cooperation projects.
Following the summit and the networking among the parties, both sides invited leading experts and industry professionals to exchange ideas. For example, in the field of smart machinery, Project Manager Chen Shih-ming from Fu-Chiang Hsin was invited to share his insights on smart manufacturing, specifically the application of two-color printing presses in food packaging and automotive component manufacturing. One particularly exciting achievement was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Fu-Chiang Hsin Group and Thailand's BDI company. The agreement focuses on the research and development of a 4.0 production system for automotive components and provides business opportunities in Thailand for Fu-Chiang Hsin's smart production line electromechanical system integration team.
The focus of this forum is to establish an institutionalized communication channel between the two sides, focusing on promoting the connection between the "Thailand 4.0" plan and Taiwan's "5+2 innovative industries", strengthening the exchange of the latest industry information, and carrying out cooperation in talent cultivation, technology transfer, and brand building, so as to comprehensively deepen the industrial connection between Taiwan and Thailand and create real business opportunities.
