A Look at Development Trend for New Energy Vehicle Parts!

There is a boom in the production and sales of new energy vehicles in 2021.

 
According to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in April were 216,000 and 206,000, respectively with an increase of 1.6 times and 1.8 times from an year earlier. Remarkably, for battery electric vehicles, the production and sales rose by 2.1 times and 2.2 times to 182,000 and 171,000, respectively.
 
From January to April of 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 750,000 and 732,000, respectively, up 2.6 times and 2.5 times. For battery electric vehicles, the production and sales were 637,000 and 615,000, respectively, with an increase of 3 and 2.8 times.

Due to the global energy crisis and environmental protection, the automobile power revolution of transforming traditional fuel vehicles into new energy vehicles is becoming more and more inevitable. In such circumstances, the trend of revolution on automotive materials - the lightweight vehicles - is going very strong, together with that of the automobile power revolution.
 
However, how to prolong the endurance mileage will be the biggest challenge in the future. There are three main ways to prolong the endurance mileage: (1) improve the performances of lithium battery, (2) increase the number of lithium battery, and (3) design lightweight automobiles. Among them, the last one is the most feasible, and the fastest solution with the lowest cost.
