The GW-R series is a large two-plate multi-component injection molding machine newly developed by FCS, catering to the market demand for integrated lampshade production in the automotive industry's lightweighting trend. To meet a wider range of market demands, the GW-R series has developed an X-type four-corner four-shot structure multi-component solution. Compared to the previous L-type four-shot solution, the X-type four-corner four-shot structure occupies less space and has a more compact injection structure. The four injection units can adapt to the needs of various molds, enabling efficient and flexible production of dual-color, three-color, and four-color products.

The X-type four-corner four-shot injection molding technology not only allows for the production of four different colors but also enables the production of dual-color products using three injection units. Additionally, it can simultaneously produce thick transparent light guide components using two units. Therefore, the X-type injection machine can produce transparent PC + gray PC and transparent PC + black PC without the need to change material pipes. This allows for rapid switching, streamlining the overall process, increasing efficiency, and maintaining a significant lead over similar equipment.
