The IPF was held once every 3 years. It is a very important plastic and rubber machine fair in Asia. The fair displays kinds of plastic related machines, including molding machines, mold, processing machines, accessories, controllers, and products including finished goods, semi-finished goods, plastic & rubber material, parts, accessories, recycle processing etc. Last show was held in 2005, there was 136 thousand visitors join the show. In 2008, there were only 66,642 visitors. Though it is less than 2005 IPF but the Japanese machine makers are still very important benchmark to Asian machine makers.

FCS joined the show with its new Japanese agent, MIDAS. The A-pack In Mold Labeling Turnkey Solution was demonstrated in the show. The solution can produce almost 1.2 million pieces of 200ml cups in a month. FCS and MIDAS tried to introduce the IML solution from Taiwan to Japanese customers. And they did impress the visitors from different countries. During the show, there were many visitors mentioned that they have been looking for ways to lower the cost for a long time. They were glad to see that machines from Taiwan could satisfy their need and FCS was their first choice.

In addition to promote FCS machines in the show, the Japanese companies’ demonstration is also very important reference to Taiwan companies. To in conclude the content of this show, there are 5 major topics worth to be watching:

1.High speed all electric injection machine

There were many companies showed all electric machines featured with injection speed faster than 500mm/sec, even 1000mm/sec.

2.Emphasizing control of Material feeding

It means that precise molding has to control not only the injection speed and injection pressure but also have to control the material feeding.

3.Hybrid Machine with large clamping tonnage

  There was one hybrid machine featured with 3000tons clamping force displayed in the show. It’s featured with hydraulic clamping unit the other parts were driven by electric motors.

4.More energy saving designs

There were different ways showed to save energy including by keeping the temperature of barrel stable and by generate power from the motor of the machine.

5.keep promoting remote control system

Though remote control has been promoted for years, but many producers still showed this system. In the future we think it will become a very important way to lower the cost for plastic products producers.

According to MIDAS’s opinion, the quality and performance of FCS’s machine is very close to Japanese machine. In fact, customers can purchase same performance by paying lower price if they choose FCS machine. MIDAS and FCS are very optimistic for the future market.
