China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has in recent years marked a constant increase of over 7% each year. This is much higher then the world's average of 1.3%. (Source: People's Daily). With the country joining WTO, the world will see China to be a more vibrant market that has opened up its doors for open competition.
In anticipating the growing needs of the Chinese Market, Fu Chun Shin Machinery Co. Ltd (FCS) has recently went into a 2 Million USD Joint-Venture with Ningbo C.S.I. Power and Machinery Group in setting up the Fu Chun Shin (Ningbo) Machinery Co. Ltd. (FCS (Ningbo)), with FCS holding a majority stake of 75%. With a combination of the best expertise from both companies, this plant will set its course for producing high precision Injection Molding Machines, Molds and other Accessories. Starting from 1 Dec 2001, within the period of one year, the plant targets to produce over 600 Injection Molding Machines, bringing in a total of 250 Million NTD.
FCS (Ningbo) spreads over a space of 4000 Square Meters. Based on the needs of the China and Taiwan Markets, the factory builds on the strength of FCS and CSI to achieve high quality and standards. With a good understanding of local work culture and human resource management policies, FCS hopes to blend in international expertise to cultivate a pool of local talents in the factory.
In terms of sales efforts, FCS has a current total of 35 Sales and Service Center located throughout the country and the very large and extensive sales network FCS has around the world. FCS will also focus on promoting products from FCS (Ningbo) in selected markets in other parts of the world. A special website will be set up to further expose the fine products of FCS (Ningbo) to other clients.
FCS (Ningbo)'s direction will evolve primarily around the main markets. It will focus on the setting up of customer service centers to better answer to the needs of its clients. Combining the 30 years of Injection Molding Machines Manufacturing experience that FCS has and CSI's understanding of the market, FCS (Ningbo) is sure to deliver high standards of products and services.
