FCSs opinion to All Electric Injection Machine

1.What do you think about the future of the all electric injection machine?

Auto parts, package, medical device and electric components are the most attention-getting industry for the plastic injection machine manufacturer. Among these companies, the European plastic molding machine manufacturers did perform excellent in auto parts industry, package industry and medical device industry. The Japanese companies are famous in electric parts industry. These phenomena can be observed in the exhibitions held these years, especially in K show, NPE and IPF. Recently, almost all the Japanese companies dedicated to produce all electric molding machines. The main reason is this kind of machine specially suits to produce electric parts. On the other hand, the all electric injection molding machine might not perform better than the other kinds of machine. For example, the auto parts generally are bigger than general plastic products. The all electric machine which is able to produce such big product usually come with a very high price. Because of that, the hydraulic machine occupies more market share in this region. For the package industry, the products usually were featured with thin wall. The machine needs to have precise shot volume and higher injection speed. The hybrid machine will have better performance than the others. Even though the medical industry emphasizes to produce products in a clean room, there are some European hydraulic machine can produce the medical parts in such environment. Actually, there are many famous companies are very serious about developing hybrid machine. Such as Sumitomo, they demonstrated a hybrid machine in 2005IPF. In that case, the all electric machine is not the only choice in the future. FCS believes that there will enough market size for hydraulic machine, hybrid machine and all electric machine in the future. It will be wiser for the customers to choose the optimal solutions according to the proper way to produce the products. 

 

2.What is the advantage of FCS in developing electric injection machine?

 

Normally while the injection speed is higher than 600mm/sec, it will be treated as high speed injection technology. The AF series developed by FCS can achieve such injection speed easily due to adopting ACC. In addition, AF series can perform with very quick response and great repeatability by using close loop design and adequate mechanical design. Compare to the all electric machines can normally achieve 300~400 mm/sec injection speed, the hybrid machine have better performance than all electric machine in the high speed injection molding.

 

For FCS, to satisfy customers need is much more important than develop new features for our machines. In the injection molding region, FCS will agree with the noun electric rather than all-electric. So in the developing of a machine to satisfy our customers, FCS think by adopting flexible and adequate hybrid design, FCS can find out the most effectively solutions for products molding and help customers to get the biggest benefits.
