The public constructions have been proceeded hotly these years in China. Following this situation, the construction parts are needed eagerly, especial the pipe connector needed in basic constructions. The big connector is special for its specifications such as the weight could be almost 15 kg. Converting the specification to the need of injection molding machine, it needs the machinery with 3000 tons clamping force to produce it.
Not all the injection molding machine manufacturers are able to produce the machine with clamping force more than 2000 tons. FCS shipped one FT-3000 ultra large machine in Mar. 2004 again. The machine is used to produce the large pipe connectors needed in basic construction. The shipment is a milestone for Taiwan in entering the construction parts market of China.
The FT-3000 is the product of FCS with largest clamping force they could provide. The clamping force of FT-3000 could achieve 3000 tons. The weight of the machine is 250 tons. The length is 21.5 meters and the height is 4 meters. It is suitable for producing large size plastic products such as large pipe connector, car bumper, dashboard framework, bathtub and warehouse board. The Hydra-Mech Clamping Structure obtained many countries patent. Its structure is simple and the motion speed raises 15%. In addition, the pressurizing cylinder provides pressure add feature. There is no toggle wear and tear problem for clamping system. The clamping force is stable, precise and easy to setup. This could promote the precision and using life. By collocating with the FCS-2100 control system, the machines could be monitored on-line.
