2004 Taipei Plas was held during Mar.18 and Mar. 21. There were almost 16,000 buyers came to visit the exhibition. The abroad buyers were close 2,000 persons. It was 11% growth than last time.
The Taipei Plas is held every two years. There were many famous manufacturers, including Fu Chun Shin (FCS), Victor-Taichung, Chen Hsong, Chuan Lih Fa, Toshiba, Matsui, Fanuc, joined this exhibition. The exhibition scale this time is the biggest one it has ever been. And so far, it is the biggest one in Asia.
In international market, Taiwan, German, Japan and Italy are all main providers of plastic machines. The output value of plastic machines of Taiwan is no. 5 compared with the others. That means the number of abroad buyers visiting the exhibition shows the growing space that Taiwan plastic machine can have in the future. According to the statistic of the host, the overseas customers included 58% from Asia, 10% from the Middle East, 9% from Europe, 8% from Africa. Sorting the customers by countries, the top 5 countries were Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and India.
Generally speaking, this years Taipei Plas is very successful in soliciting customers. There were 31 companies from all over the world exhibited 96 injection molding machines. The range of these machines clamping force was very wide. The smallest one was 10 tons and biggest one is 1250 tons. But most of the machines clamping forces were between 100 tons to 400 tons.
Through observation of the exhibition, many manufacturers put into improve the color and the look of the machines. It meant that the manufacturers pursued not only bigger clamping force, more precise injection but also better outlook. They are trying to build a high-value image by improving the appearance and quality.
Observing the demonstrated machines, more than 70% of the exhibitors showed hydraulic injection machines. Some of them displayed special machines such as 10% for two components machines, 7% for hybrid machines and 23% for all electric machines. And the number of hybrid machines and all electric machines are obviously more than last time. It shows the trend of sharing market equally by hydraulic, hybrid and all electric machines are gradually forming. |
During this exhibition, it was easy to see that many companies actually producing products by cooperating with assisting equipments. And the displayed contents headed to the way of producing accurate products. It showed all the injection machine providers take notice of the necessity of providing total solution to their customers and the trend of producing accurate machines. Among these exhibitors, FCS took precision, high speed and system integration as the exhibition principal. By cooperating with many famous plastic assisting machine companies, including Yushin, Wittmann, Matsui, Shini, Derli Mold, Long Sun and Shyuan Yeu, FCS provided a high speed and automatic producing sets to demonstrate the production of extra thin Smart Media Card, two components speaker cone, caps and paint bucket in the exhibition. The highly integrated producing systems gathering the attention of lots of visitors and making the stand of FCS always crowded.
The High Speed Cap Producing System caught lots of attentions from the visitors during the exhibition. Its capacity could be 9 million caps per month. Many customers represented their will of putting orders in the exhibition. The system also won the prize of the products innovation competition. |
In addition, FCS displayed AE-100 and AE-400, hybrid injection molding machine, producing extra thin smart media card and paint bucket. The thinnest part of extra thin Smart Media Card produced by AE-100 is 0.15P, as thin as mans hair. By applying robot of Wittmann, the paint buckets in two cavities produced by AE-400 took only 12 seconds. The amazing speed and automatic production caught the visitors eyes. By adopting hybrid two loop structure and close loop servo valve, AE series could perform as good as all electric machines. By collocating with online monitoring system, customers could build up a fully automatic factory and reduce a lot of cost. The system was deeply impressed the judges of the products innovation competition and won the highest prize.
FCS is the first manufacturer developing two components injection machine in Taiwan. The display of FB-260R collocating with robot of Yushin showed the finish of the two components speaker cone in one process instead of two processes. In addition, FCS also developed all electric machines to satisfy the need in the future. The HE-30 all electric machine with 30 tons clamping force produced highly precise plastic frame of cell phone LCD. In conclusion, the performance of FCS during the Taipei Plas was excellent though the exhibition was held at the same time with the election of Taiwan. Most exhibitors thought the sales amount during this exhibition was less than last time, but FCS won orders more than last time. The foreign visitors were more than ever. During the exhibition period, FCS got orders more than 2 million us dollars and there are some orders could be received in the near future. Assuming the orders accepted for Taipei Plas could achieve more than 5 million us dollars. It proved that the products of FCS are good for the customers. |
