B2B System of FCS was launched on Nov. 1. The system is part of business strategy of FCS. Estimating the order processing speed could speed up 20%. It also will reduce the error for work done by hand. This will promote the effectiveness of suppliers and customers at the same time. Every one in the value chain could share the good achievement.
Base on the vision and satisfying customers, FCS launched 10 Billion Plan in 2002. To achieve complete SCM system, FCS used BPR (Business Process Reengineering) skills to build up the SCM system on the original ERP structure with consulting from MIRDC (Metal Industry Research and Development Center) and government. FCS hopes to strengthen the ability for serving customers and to help the cooperators improving their information technology adoption. Also it hopes to lead the progress of the injection molding machine industry.
There are 5 modules in the B2B system of FCS including suppliers management module, purchasing and outsourcing management module, suppliers analyzing module, engineering data management module and accounts payable management module. Through these modules, customers and suppliers and FCS could communicate on the same platform. This will make sure the communications and the information more precise. It also will save the traveling time of physical documents and speed up the operating speed.
